Wigan and Leigh Housing’s Contact Centre was opened in July 2004 to provide a repairs telephone service to tenants in the Leigh area. Since then it has grown and now deals with in excess of 200,000 telephone calls per year. We are the first point of contact for all housing enquiries for the whole of the Borough. Our aim is to provide excellent customer service and we continue to work hard in order to achieve this. Our committed staff provide a number of services including the services detailed below.
- Reporting Repairs, Gas Servicing and Planned Maintenance
- Rent balances and Rent Arrears
- Anti Social Behaviour and Neighbour Nuisance complaints
- Housing and Garage Application Forms, Accommodation Advice and registering interest for advertised properties.
- General tenancy advice including Termination of Tenancy, Amendments, Transfers, Home Contents Insurance and Right To Buy.
