Below are the Tenants and Residents Associations in the Wigan Area Forum

Pictured here from left to right is Rebecca Potter, Tenant Participation Officer for the Wigan area and Wigan forum chair Melanie Brown, along with Chris Lucas. Melanie is presenting a cheque to Chris for £500 from the Better Estates fund. Chris was involved in helping organise a Christmas Carol and Choir event at Scholes village last year. Tenants and Residents of the area forums vote for how much applicants of the Better Estates fund actually receive...it's you who decides where  money is spent on your estate!

Wigan Area Forum deals with issues from the Beech Hil, Whelley, Scholes, Shevington, Top Lock, Aspull, Haigh, Standish, Lower Ground, Spring Gardens and Ince areas of the borough.

 

The chair of the forum is Melanie Brown who is also the Tenant Board Member for the Wigan Area.
