What a performance!

The event was held at St Peter’s Pavilion in Hindley and as you will see from the pictures on this page, it was another packed event. This year’s theme centred on ‘Communities working together can beat the Recession’. There was some great presentations warning us of the dangers of getting involved with Loan Sharks and promoting the Credit Union as an easy way of enabling us to save for a rainy day. There was also a very interesting talk about the support and advice provided by the Victim Support Service. A description of what's going on in the pictures on this page can be read below. These pictures can also be viewed in large format by clicking on the link below.

Everyone agreed that the highlights of the day were the young peoples’ performances. First we had the Rose Bridge High School presenting a modern, artistic act on Peer Pressure, which members of the audience found moving.

This was followed by a choir from All Saints Infant School in Hindley, which was equally touching. The picture shows them receiving their thanks after their wonderful performance.
