Tenants Participation Compact – ‘Our Agreement’
The document sets out the different ways that you can get involved in influencing our service and also sets out the support that we can offer you to play a more active role in helping to create better neighbourhoods. This agreement was put together by tenants, staff and councillors from across the Borough who wanted to create an agreement that would mean something to all tenants, this is reflected in the agreed shared vision –
Working up a fair agreement that means something to tenants and residents and one that will influence how the housing services are provided’. ‘Our Agreement’ contains the standards agreed by the Government in its national framework with priorities agreed by the compact review working group. This agreement aims to meet the needs of both tenants and local communities and is closely linked with the:
- Government's expected levels of service
- Wigan Council's Community Plan
- Wigan and Leigh Housing's Business & Delivery Plan
