About The Furnished Homes Service Performance
The furnished homes service is available to Introductory Tenants, vulnerable tenants, and under certain circumstances existing tenants who do not have enough furnishings to meet their needs.
If you have a furnished home an inventory is taken at the commencement of your tenancy. You are responsible for the upkeep of all furniture and fittings. Officers from the Furnished Homes Service will visit regularly to check that everything is being properly cared for and to arrange any necessary repairs or replacements.
If you decide to end your tenancy the inventory will be checked again and you must make sure that all furniture and fittings are left to an acceptable standard.
