Tenant Satisfaction Results 2008

Over the last two years, tenants' satisfaction with Wigan and Leigh Housing's services has increased from 84% to 87%.

Some of the things that you tell us:

  • 87% of you are very or fairly satisfied with our overall service (83.5% in 2006)
  • Almost half of you (49.1%) are very satisfied with the service (34.9% in 2006)
  • 88.4% of you are very or fairly satisfied with the overall quality of your home (85.3%)
  • 85.4% of you say that you are very happy or fairly happy with the condition of your home (88.1%)
  • 77.8% of you say that you are very or fairly happy with the area where you live (80.8%)
  • 88% of you are satisfied with the way repairs and maintenance are dealt with (86%)
  • 79% of you think that the rent we charge you is value for money (85.6%)
  • 82.7% of you feel that you are kept well informed about the things that affect you as tenants (82.8%)
  • 68.4% of you think that we listen to your views when making decisions (73.5%)
  • 71.7% of you are satisfied with the opportunities for participation in management and decision making (73.3%)
  • 79.3% of you felt it was easy getting hold of the right person, when contacting Wigan and Leigh Housing (77.3%)
  • 86.3% of you say that you found staff to be helpful (74.6%)

The results of the survey are very helpful and we will be using the results to improve the services we offer to our customers.
