Rent Statement Enquiries on the Web
By clicking on the link at the bottom of this page, you will be taken to the 'My Council' page on Wigan Council's Website. Please note that you will need your Person Reference from your last rent statement. Without this you won't be able to access your rent account online.
Before linking to access your rent account online here are some instructions about what to do.
Click on ‘My Council’ on the top right hand side of the screen. If you aren’t already registered click on ‘Register for My Council’.
Think of a Username and Password (min 6 characters) that you won’t forget, and enter your e-mail address if you have one.
Then Click on 'Register'.
Click on ‘Housing Rents Enquiry Service’ and then click on ‘Add Account’
If you are doing this for the first time you need to click on ‘Request access to a Housing Rents account’.
Your 'Person Reference' can be found on the top right hand corner of your last rent statement we post out to you. Enter this here then click on 'Go'. Entering your 'Person Reference' will bring up all of your accounts with Wigan and Leigh Housing. You can then check that your address and payment reference are displayed correctly.
This is as far as you can go on your first visit because you will be sent an activation code through the post as a security measure, so that no-one else can look at your account.
When you receive the activation code through the post you need to go back in on the site and enter your 'User Name', 'Password' and 'Activation Code' to activate your account. Once you have entered your person reference and activation code you should be able to see your accounts and their details.
